Challenge: A local restaurant chain wanted to differentiate itself from the national brands by emphasizing locally sourced food and the individuality of each Executive Chef.
Solution: Chef Bio Cards
Each card featured the biography and philosophy of the Executive Chef at the location, along with a summary of the locally sourced foods available.
The back side was more specific to the location of the restaurant than the chef, giving the restaurant an additional opportunity to call the diner’s attention to the benefit of choosing this restaurant over a corporate national chain.
Sized as 8.5 x 5.5, these cards were the perfect size to include in on-table restaurant branding materials next to the typical Happy Hour and Special menus.
Tools Used: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Stock Imagery combined with Professional Photography.
Production details: Card were printed on a heavy 12 pt. stock on a small format digital press and laminated on both sides for durability. Short runs were used so that cards could be updated frequently without worry about cost.
